How to Find Your Website IP address

There are many ways to find a sites IP address:

By using the “ping” command in a terminal window:>

Using Ping Command (CMD)

1. On Linux/Unix system

Press Ctrl+Alt+T to open a termina

2. Microsoft Windows operating systems

Press Windows+R – type cmd and enter to open a terminal window.

3. On a Mac.

Go to launchpad  and click on Terminal Icon

In all 3 systems type the following into the terminal command prompt:

> ping yourdomainname.com.au>
